Icelandic Adjectives
Adjectives must agree with the nouns they modify in gender, number, and case. Adjectives in Icelandic can take two sets of endings: strong endings and weak endings.
Adjectives take weak endings when,
1.) they are used with a definite noun
2.) with a demonstrative pronoun (i.e., this, that)
